National Gender Machinery meet in a leadership retreat to synergize efforts in delivering as one

Nyagatare-02 November 2018- The National Gender Machinery Leadership retreat was held in Nyagatare, Eastern Province from 31^st October until 02^nd November 2018. The leadership retreat brought together officials from different institutions that constitute the National Gender Machinery. They discussed strategies of improving collaboration and coordination mechanisms to deliver as one in promoting Gender Equality, Family Promotion, women empowerment and Child Protection. Participants also discussed on the next fiscal year priorities. While closing the retreat, Amb. Soline Nyirahabimana, the Minister of Gender and Family Promotion called for strengthened results based and coordinated action of Gender Machinery institutions. Ministry of Gender and Family Promotion, Gender Monitoring Office, National Early Childhood Development Program, National Women Council, National Commission for Children, Women MPs Forum (FFRP) and representative of District Gender and Family Promotion Officers.
